My experience in content creation includes:
Scientific Blog Writing: I self-initiated a project that translates scientific research on the practice of yoga into digestible, audience-centered content.
Content Strategy: I have assisted a mission-driven organization in their social media presence and helped redesign educational materials for a public health organization.
Technical Documentation: Crafted user-centered content with content management systems, learned structured authoring techniques with DITA/XML and basic HTML and JavaScript to optimize content for webpages.

I deeply value connecting with like-minded professionals. This spring, I expanded my network at Write the Docs, where I had the opportunity to learn directly from leading voices in the technical communications field and gain deeper insight into the responsibilities of a technical communicator. I can’t forget to mention, I love myself a good, nerdy and communal discussion.
Fun Fact: I love public speaking!
As much as I enjoy creating content, I’m equally passionate about speaking about it. With an extroverted spirit and a love for verbal communication, I was energized by the opportunity to present our Usability Test for Oregon Health & Science University to the Portland State University English Department. Sharing our process and insights was a highlight of the project and affirmed my excitement for public-facing work.
